Canterbury cathedral was beautiful. A little spooky though, because there are tombs of important people around the cathedral. Spooky but cool. Some people are buried below the cathedral floors too, and their tombstones are built into the floor. So you have to try to avoid stepping on them.
huishan and shafa have turned me into Marks & Spensers addicts! in addition, i shall attempt to stop thinking about Krispy Kremes. Actually started thinking about them during IR100 Lecture! Gosh....
Did some financial planning too.. haha wanted to put my Singapore savings into fixed deposits to earn some interest. Realised that if i put all the money into fixed d. for 3 years i will earn a total of ...................... (drumroll)................ 13 Singapore dollars! So sad...
When i was doing my laundry i noticed one of my shirts had a tag that said "keep away from fire". DUH!!!
Monday and Tuesday were class and lecture days... didn't do much else other than study. Today there was a netball match and we only played 3 quarters because we couldn't finish the game before the our court booking ended. Played GD, it was quite fun. Played RVC. (River Valley College? nope, Royal Veterinary College) The final score was 17-15 to us, but they refused to concede defeat even though we had led for all 3 quarters. Looks like these future veterinarians aren't that compassionate. :P. Anyway one of our team players intends to write about it in The Beaver to complain. "Robbed! Fifth netball team...." We also took a picture of all of us looking very sad and dejected to add more drama effect to the article. Looking forward to see her article. haha
