yay! am very happy with my new laptop!! (though i think i developed a headache from using it too long in the library). i realised that i really do have an infatuation with all techie things that are small and light. hence the iPod nano and the samsung phone and now the new laptop. oh well, i will argue that the utility of all of them are greater than the cost. anyway the old laptop is really cranky now. can't even open the programs from the start menu and have to go all the way into the program folders just to open them. will keep it to do work when i want a big screen and to be able to work on two windows simultaneously. (AcerGridvista is one of the more fantastic acer inventions.)
yay! the wonders of technology. the smaller latop actually has higher specs (in everything except graphics) and battery life (5-6 hours my friend!) than the bigger one. hooray!
okay i shall stop now. am too infatuated with this thing. the only thing is i'm only going to use this for work-related stuff for now. wouldn't want to screw it up before i install vista.
am poorer but happier :)
snow wasn't that great though. quite interesting how its a very big deal and the entire transport infrastructure crumbles when it snows. but other countries get by just fine.
