i long for the warmth of the days gone by...
and of lofts and lakeview penthouses
I would walk
I would walk
I would walk
anyway, burned a hole through my lucky 31 softball jersey :( so sad. kept checking on it the entire day just in case it was only a bad dream, because i still can't believe i did it. sadly its not. :( x 100. i decided to give it a light iron (since most stuff that you're not supposed to iron can be ironed on low heat anyway) since it was creased and then it spontaneously melted!!!! argh. so sad so sad so sad so sad so sad. kill me now! yes, honestly if i can pay to repair it, even it comes up to the hundreds, i'd do it. i beat ili now on the absolute worst thing that can happen to a jersey now.
yes, and then proceeded to fall alseep while reading and now there's a black ink spot on my bedsheet. didn't go running either. made all sorts of excuses "today's cold, sunday will be warmer", "oh i shouldn't, have a blister on my foot", "ah, you excercised yesterday already!" and all sorts of crap.
yes, thursday does not exist.
on a lighter note... hsbc internet transfer is very fun. since they always ask you to write a description of what the payment is for, you can transfer money to friends and write crazy stuff like "for magic mushrooms", "for last night. ;P", or "here's the money you bitch! i ain't giving any more" haha. would write more amusing stuff but i wouldn't want to scare everyone. unfortunately shafa settled for the mild "for nonya kueh".
and.. the microwavable baos aren't that bad after all.. better than the ferment-smelling ones the last time. moral of the story is... "made in malaysia" food can't go very wrong.
while we're at it.. the picture from Chinese New Years eve in my room.. supper proudly sponsored by dear dad's ang pow via the credit card. haha i haven't used all the money yet! i have till the end of the 15 days right? :P
and..... from the gathering before i left in January. the families united by the tuition teacher who dumped me in the laundry basket and locked the door when i was young. okay, she ain't that mean but she really did do it! to this day, no one believes me :(
Song of the day:
Burn - Usher (in memory of the wrecked jersey)
But you know that it's over
We know that it's through
Let it burn
Let it burn
Gotta let it burn

history class was funny. everyone sat in pairs behind the pair in the first row in "school bus fashion" and we poked out heads out to the side once in a while when we wanted to raise new points, like those funny dance formations. *leans to the side and raises a pen*.. "yes, but britain was not in the ECSC..." *return back into hiding behind the big american guy* haha thinking back it was really extremely amusing. following class i consumed a little too much caffeine for my own liking and became extremely jittery and hyperactive. only noticed when i started writing notes extremely fast.
realised that playing for the 1st 3 teams is financially taxing since you have to pay lots of money to travel around greater london. ended up at middlesex university in zone 5 (at the second last station of the piccadilly line!) after a long gruelling journey which included a long 10 minutes where the tube simply stopped due to a "security alert" somewhere. following that we ended up late for the match, but fortunately we were greeted with indoor courts! *yay for the second time this week!* people should start telling me beforehand so i can bring shorts!!! :(
yay, love indoor courts. and if you fall, and you're lucky, you slide! (sadistically speaking, but not to the extent of the well-oiled NBA courts). yep, someone actually did. ah well, spent some time chasing an alicia-keys-like centre, and attempting to outsmart a very clever GS who turned out to be too smart for me to handle. nonetheless it was fun because it was challenging.
yes, and i've found evidence of the abandoned aldwych station! but the picture came out blur. darn.
and random incriminating and crazy photos
kahli's ribbony-fluffy-not-me-slippers
stolen lse property spotted along the thames the day after crush
hor... smoking...
recently discovered pictures from last year
the elusive strawberry beer at belgos
vouyeristic photos from the wisma atria toilet (guess who's lower body it is!)
Haha correct location but wrong country

can't believe that good old friendly me can get penalised for "dissent" when i was merely pointing out (and i was smiling as i did it and also didn't say a word) that the penalty against me should be taken from where i commited the offence. so the game was halted like for half a minute and she looked at me with those big bloodshot eyes and decided that she should call a penalty for dissent! wth? its not like i openly challenged her or told her to fuck off or anything!!! if you were a better umpire and really felt that i was wrong you could just ignore me and let the game continue! and bearing in mind that the entire match i didn't complain that she kept on calling contact against me when i deflect the ball before the girl runs into me, or that her 3 seconds are acutally 2 seconds, or that she pretends to not hear us call for timeouts when our players get bashed in the face and jaw and end up on the floor!
fortunately we still won despite the biased umpiring. or else i would really be pissed.
