"25 families with at least 2 children sniffed T-shirts worn at night in blind tests; parents recognized their children's smell - mothers more so than fathers; but neither fathers nor mothers could distinguish between children; mothers especially disliked their children's smell"
yup, that definitely explains a lot of things.
puee's cooking tips
1) Putting bread in the microwave doesn't toast it
2) When the label says it expires on a certain day, always add 3 days more.
3) Pita bread rocks
4) Pesto rocks
5) Random stuff cooked with black pepper sauce always works
6) Frozen prawns and frankfurters rule
7) Veggies are always edible unless they start to turn into putrefied goo
8) Oranges double up as air freshener for your room!
9) If you want those hot plates like they do in italian restaurants, wet your plates and dump them in the microwave! haha useful too if you want to dry your plates and bowls fast and you don't have a towel :)
why do i have to get up at 4am tmr? its supposed to be the weekend! *grumble grumble*

ANyway, most of the netballers are out tonight cos we beat Imperial today! it was such a good victory because we were trailing in the first quarter and then fought our way back to beat them by 11 goals. Haha and it was a sweet victory because there was so much catfighting going on throughout the match. People being elbowed, nudged, pushed, people falling all over the astroturf, having contact lenses knocked off, scratched, everything. Was quite pissed myself but i controlled myself. I think the most pissed i ever got during a match was when i was playing henderson sec in sec 4 (yeah i can still remember) and the shooter (who was clearly a basketball player) was butting me the entire first quarter and the umpires didn't see it. i remember that i was cursing and swearing to mag after the first quarter. that was probably the only time i have ever cursed during a game. haha. Okay i shall try to convince myself that deciding to stay in is a good thing. *tries very hard* (to no avail) *grumble grumble*
okay work work work!!!
*grumble grumble*
[puee's conscience: control yourself puee. you can go out next week]
Songs of the day: (the first 3 were heard over the phone while grumbling to shan)
Split Screen Sadness - John Mayer (haha SSS)
You and Me - Lifehouse
Miracle - Vertical Horizon (haha i listened to this constantly during HP elections in sec 3)
Be Mine - David Gray
*grumble grumble* libby says she'll get someone to down a pint on my behalf to celebrate my player of the match award. :( WHY WHY WHY ?!?
two wrongs make it all alright tonight ( i hope)

Weird stuff they sell at the sex shop on the way to covent garden.. haha
The full moon above the berrylands clubhouse!

The nice walk on the way back from trainings!
Cool cloud formation! I think this was taken on saturday.
LSE at after the sun sets.. (that's around 4pm now)
ANyway, everyone should watch love actually! This weekend i watched it for the third time.. but the first time since i came to london, and i realised that so many scenes were taken near bankside! Ahh!!! :) I'm so happy that one of my favourite movies was filmed near bankside. Anyway the movie has fantastic shots of southbank and blackfriars bridge. And the guy who secretly likes keira knightley runs out of oxo tower after being discovered! yay... so if you want to find out how my daily haunts look like, watch love actually.
anyway went shopping today! bought a nice jacket and miss sixty jeans at factory prices, and a cool microfibre puma windbreaker.. (haha sports junkie). Again, fortunately mom isn't here or she and her kakis would have attempted to buy the entire mc arthur glen complex. No blueberrys (burberrys) here though.
its starting to get frosty here. saturday's sing soc netball took place on a court with a layer of frost on top of it so it was more like ice-skating than netball... during lse netball training one day i was wondering if my tongue would stick to the goalpost if i attempted to lick it.
christmas is coming! i'm happy despite the fact that i play christmas songs on my laptop all year round! haha. yay, maybe i'll get a red nose from frostbite this december.
More songs!:
Back Here - BB Mak
All You Need Is Love - Lynden David Hall (it sounds better in Love Actually though)
