I would walk

thursday was spent reading. spent almost the entire day in my room. unfortunately, i only made it through 11 pages of chris brown's book. The laptop is too distracting, i leave it on just in case friends come online. Maybe i should just turn it off next time. At night, went to watch "Fame". It wasn't as good as les miserables i thought, but then again it was a different kind of musical. More emphasis on dance instead of singing. The PL kind of musical. anyway, spent another night out in London. Always enjoy late nights in the city, even in Singapore. Its quieter and more beautiful. Next time we will head to Chinatown for dou jiang you tiao!
I was quite bored during my stuyding, so i decided to send junk messages to people in Singapore over the internet. little did i know that a simple spam message to my sister that said "hello i am bored" would mobilise the entire family to call me and start a video conversation over msn! I will never ever do that again.
Anyway, wanted to put this down long ago but i keep on forgetting. Monica Lewnisky is studying at LSE! haha. she's doing post grad. sadly, even if i bumped into her in the corridor i wouldn't recognise her. I heard quite a few guys are trying to get lucky with her. How amusing.
A few amusing things happened today. Firstly, was walking back to Bankside with Huishan and Shafa when we noticed a duck swimming along the River Thames. The first time we saw one here. It was quite cute i must say. However, further along the way we passed the convenience store and saw that the headlines for the South London Post were "Diesel spill on the River Thames". Poor guy.
The second thing is that i found out the welfare officer of Bankside happens to live on my floor! This cheerful girl who always stops to chat and say hi. (I should have known). Anyway turns out one of her duties is to give out free condoms. (To prevent the spread of veneral disease around Bankside? Haha). Would that explain all the commotion on the 7th floor in the wee hours of the morning? (And the mysterious message on my door)
Weekend is here and i'm broke! Darn. Have to fork out 13 pounds to go for soccer tryouts. this is terrible.
