i long for the warmth of the days gone by...
and of lofts and lakeview penthouses
I would walk
hmm... *taps toes* what should i do tmr?
anyway, came back to find that my cable tv has been cut, so no star world (csi!), CNBC (Saturday Night Live), ESPN (basketball and baseball!), and Discovery (random interesting stuff). Yup, but my dad put new speakers in my room just that the sound comes out very weird.
hmm at this rate i won't be able to wake up to run tmr...
haha the SQ in-flight entertainment was not that great this time around so we decided to get our money's worth by asking for the more expensive drinks on the menu, like singapore sling and fruit spritzers.. haha the flight was half full so it wasn't that horrible.
anyway coming back has been quite interesting cos you start to see things differently. For one Singapore does smell very different :P, then there's the buses that are yellow and green or red and white instead of the polished red ones in london, people here do dress very simply (i'm not complaining!), and its warm and humid. i also can't remember if i tapped my card before getting off the bus. It was quite interesting when i took all my books out of my luggage and immediately moisture condensed on them. And i realised that i really spent quite a lot of money in the past. haha i went to ya kun and i realised the set that i always order was $3.70. wah quite expensive ah? (yar its only about 1.20 pounds but i can't believe i actually would spend it without thinking). Okay it will be hawker food for me for most of the days..
How? i wanna do so many things but it seems so expensive. my wishlist (note a lot of them come with an exclamation mark)

okay i'm listening to "Let It Snow" by Boyz II Men now. I just sang "Outside its cold, but the fire's blazing..." Okay that is so wrong. :(
I had a very interesting conversation w the auntie selling wine @ DFS this afternoon.. haha. I was buying some ice wine for christmas and she was trying to get me to buy more bottles (cos i was v. kiam and bought a tiny bottle only. it was 40 sing dollars!). She was like "this one i can one person gao dim... buy 2 lah, then can share. or buy bigger bottle want?" she seemed like the closet alcoholic type. quite adorable lah.
greetings go out to all still in London (shafa, gerald, adrian etc). Enjoy the festival @ south bank & the cool christmas!
neighbours on both sides of my place have moved out! (must my my mom's karaoke-ing). haha i can sing at the top of my voice and blast music now. (ohno i am becoming more like my mom!)
