i long for the warmth of the days gone by...
and of lofts and lakeview penthouses
went to catch king kong with pam! bascially this is a show about dinosaurs, king kong, weird tribal people and a writer all fighting over one hot blonde. okay lah not bad. very long though. prata outing! christmas eve! after a wonderful seafood dinner @ jumbo seafood at clarke quay (though we were being scrutinised by a horde of japanese tourists), we headed to the opposite side of the singapore river to end up at a coffee joint (why?). Following that we finished two very horrible frappacinos at this unnamed coffee joint, we headed home feeling sick in the stomach for a few hours. we attempt to amuse the tourists true to its colour, it does really taste like **** living it up as tow-kay style yup, first it was golf with ms ong and family & miss christina(unfortunately no sun = no tan), then dinner at a country club, followed by drinks with hai nee. haha the ultimate lao-ban pastimes - golf - food - drinks journey to the west after the very interesting tooth extraction i head off to IMM to meet shan and huifang in their part of Singapore to buy a lot of random but useful stuff for living in london. however i was a little too ambitious and tried taking bus no. 52 back to upper thomson. After a very treacherous walk from IMM to Jurong East interchange to take the bus back home, i found myself back at IMM 15 minutes later. following that i fell into a deep sleep, oblivious to 2 missed calls, and find myself at thomson another 45 minutes later. oh well, the nap was good anyway. I would walk
puee's big adventure at the NUS dentistry faculty
one early morning puee bravely went to explore the NUH dental facilities, where the future and present masked terrors of the Singapore Dental Service roam and practice freely. Masquerading as a patient of one of the more cooperative and gullible trainee dentists, Dr CPL, puee successfully completed reconaissance of the Dental Centre, Dental Clinic 1 and the training laboratories and escapes alive to bring you this report.
puee sneaks past maximum security to enter the top-secret laboratory. (no lah actually this was on the rubbish bin)
the top-secret-air-conditioned laboratory(the ultimate sin. its not allowed man) where the future dentists hone their skills at mashing, bashing, drilling and polishing.
unfortunately after sacrificing herself as a phoney patient, the ambitious puee's teeth showed anomalous growths and she has been scheduled for tooth extraction on the 27th of December. :(
