Yay i've got new furniture! A bubble chair, an IKEA shelving unit and my new tivoli radio! Haha felt quite bad cos adrian and huifang had to help me lug stuff back from IKEA. Yeah, still do. Anyhow, still love the shelving unit. figured that since i'm gonna stay here for the next 6 months i might as well make it livable. A bit to comfy though, its really conducive for stoning and slacking more than studying. OHno. oh well..
Yup, and i brought my softball glove back... hopefully the dry air removes the stink and that the weather gets better so i can find people to go to hyde park to play :).jpg)
Anyway, just survived cooking with my new wok which turned out to be ****** heavy but at least you can cook in bulk. haha. yeah and i figured that i should fry noodles less often cos i spent nearly 15 mins trying to scrape the burnt parts off the bottom of the pan. :(
And after huifang's freaky episode on the tube, we have discovered that the emergency alarm on the tube is quite efficient! In less than a minute there were people attending to us. haha now we know! Haha but i think the staff were looking for people more terrorist-like though. :P.jpg)
Went to IKEA on thursday.. its massive! yes, for once we actually went into the suburbs (i quote Ali G "there is actually folk livin here"). Took the free shuttle bus from the tube to ikea and back. Remarked to adrian: "the bus is only for goons like us who don't drive". Anyhow, bought ginger thins and pizzas and had swedish meatballs for lunch. *yum*. the IKEa here is quite ulu and its so big anyway so i don't think the cafe is ever full house.
first day of school is tmr, shucks. if i could i would just stone in my room for a few weeks and not do anything actually. Anyway the weather sucks. Went out for a run yesterday but it got cut short because it was drizzling and everyone was staring at me with the "what is this goondu doing running in the rain?" look.
yes, and after listening to radio almost the entire day yesterday and today i've heard Daniel by Elton John at least 3 times. i guess they really love him here huh.
