i long for the warmth of the days gone by...
and of lofts and lakeview penthouses
I would walk
anyway, burned a hole through my lucky 31 softball jersey :( so sad. kept checking on it the entire day just in case it was only a bad dream, because i still can't believe i did it. sadly its not. :( x 100. i decided to give it a light iron (since most stuff that you're not supposed to iron can be ironed on low heat anyway) since it was creased and then it spontaneously melted!!!! argh. so sad so sad so sad so sad so sad. kill me now! yes, honestly if i can pay to repair it, even it comes up to the hundreds, i'd do it. i beat ili now on the absolute worst thing that can happen to a jersey now.
yes, and then proceeded to fall alseep while reading and now there's a black ink spot on my bedsheet. didn't go running either. made all sorts of excuses "today's cold, sunday will be warmer", "oh i shouldn't, have a blister on my foot", "ah, you excercised yesterday already!" and all sorts of crap.
yes, thursday does not exist.
on a lighter note... hsbc internet transfer is very fun. since they always ask you to write a description of what the payment is for, you can transfer money to friends and write crazy stuff like "for magic mushrooms", "for last night. ;P", or "here's the money you bitch! i ain't giving any more" haha. would write more amusing stuff but i wouldn't want to scare everyone. unfortunately shafa settled for the mild "for nonya kueh".
and.. the microwavable baos aren't that bad after all.. better than the ferment-smelling ones the last time. moral of the story is... "made in malaysia" food can't go very wrong.
while we're at it.. the picture from Chinese New Years eve in my room.. supper proudly sponsored by dear dad's ang pow via the credit card. haha i haven't used all the money yet! i have till the end of the 15 days right? :P
and..... from the gathering before i left in January. the families united by the tuition teacher who dumped me in the laundry basket and locked the door when i was young. okay, she ain't that mean but she really did do it! to this day, no one believes me :(
Song of the day:
Burn - Usher (in memory of the wrecked jersey)
But you know that it's over
We know that it's through
Let it burn
Let it burn
Gotta let it burn
