history class was funny. everyone sat in pairs behind the pair in the first row in "school bus fashion" and we poked out heads out to the side once in a while when we wanted to raise new points, like those funny dance formations. *leans to the side and raises a pen*.. "yes, but britain was not in the ECSC..." *return back into hiding behind the big american guy* haha thinking back it was really extremely amusing. following class i consumed a little too much caffeine for my own liking and became extremely jittery and hyperactive. only noticed when i started writing notes extremely fast.
realised that playing for the 1st 3 teams is financially taxing since you have to pay lots of money to travel around greater london. ended up at middlesex university in zone 5 (at the second last station of the piccadilly line!) after a long gruelling journey which included a long 10 minutes where the tube simply stopped due to a "security alert" somewhere. following that we ended up late for the match, but fortunately we were greeted with indoor courts! *yay for the second time this week!* people should start telling me beforehand so i can bring shorts!!! :(
yay, love indoor courts. and if you fall, and you're lucky, you slide! (sadistically speaking, but not to the extent of the well-oiled NBA courts). yep, someone actually did. ah well, spent some time chasing an alicia-keys-like centre, and attempting to outsmart a very clever GS who turned out to be too smart for me to handle. nonetheless it was fun because it was challenging.
