whiling away the time while waiting for my laundry to get done. if i get it done now i can sleep in tmr. was quite sick so i didn't go for class today and downed panadols to reduce all the flu symptoms and slept all morning and afternoon. nonetheless went for netball dinner since i paid for it. am quite broke now. darn. oh well, it was for a good cause. for the good food and for the iPod shuffle we bought libby to thank her for being a wonderful captain. I'm sure all the other captains are jealous! anyway we're so happy that libby's been elected club captain and jen's been elected social sec to continue our wonderful 5th team legacy. and nikki's 5th team captain next year. haha and laura made it a point to educate all the other netball girls on the beaver article that puts our team the 11th best lse team this season, and also the only netball team to achieve a top 3 ranking the league. but its a little sad though, that for once i'm not in the thick of organising things, but holding a post and doing ir isn't that compatible. and i don't even know if i should get promoted next year because that would mean 2 matches a week.
was going to head home after the post-dinner fines at printworks ( they serve fruli! :P ) because i really should rest to sleep this sickness off ( i wouldn't want to be sick in italy!) but i got persuaded by siana to go to the walkabout to claim my fine and also since it was her last official walkabout before graduation but after we got there she got lost in the crowd and i stayed a while but left early. the third years and masters students are leaving, so sad. and weird french guys tried to chat us up in the line, asking us if they could go in with us. so weird, maybe they didn't know that as long as you queue you can get in. hmm..
hmm.. if this cold doesn't go away i shall have to skip class on friday, which may not be such a bad thing because its gv.
