hmm okay we are home. the laptop gave me a scare this afternoon because it had me utterly convinced that it went bust, unable to cope with the hot weather
caught the flu bug from the guy sitting next to me in church on saturday. how ironic.
"new" neighbours have moved in, and they have many many many kids. wonderful, its like a party every night here. oh well, at least if i keep the windows open i get to-the-second updates on goals scored during the world cup as a consolation.
puee mourns:
1) the existence of cockroaches especially since home is centrally positioned between the ever popular roti prata shop and the central catchment area. therefore that = more cockroaches and bigger cockroaches
2) australia's loss this morning due to some bugger who dived.
3) the fact that that the house is so big that you curse yourself if you left something in one part of the house
4) the loss of the non-humid weather and the thames jogging route. puee has now been forced to brave the monkey-infested route down to bishan park. bleagh
5) that there's nothing to watch on tv
6) the enthusiasm of family to correct my sleeping habits, whom they claim is due to jet lag but everybody knows i don't exactly sleep at night if i can help it.
7) mom's conviction that drinking half a can of beer is evidence that i'm an alcoholic.
