oh man dad just informed me that there is a one litre limit of carrying beer across customs. houston, we have a problem.
all thanks to uncle shearer whose limited edition brown ale must be a whopping 550ml!! sigh. and everyone else has 330ml bottles and why can't we just have the normal 500ml to be conventional? no... uncle shearer is special.... now we probably have to split all three up and i still have 2 bottles of strawberry beer i promised someone else. gaymickeytay i hope you're hearing this *evil squint*
anyway just had an uncanny experience of talking to a malaysian/singaporean lady over the phone (which was supposed to be toll free but no.. i had to pay) while trying to get the storage company to send boxes to me. was quite wierd cos i was speaking english and wondering if i should just speak in singlish. the yesterday too a singaporean/malaysian guy was on the line.
and yes, am eating very expensive 3 pound grapes now. sigh. it is not always the case that market stuff is cheaper. but nvm, they're quite nice. from borough market. sadly no kiera knightley in sight.
