hmm interesting how inviting people out these days sometimes involves a buy one get one free system - invite one and the other half is automatically invited. haha
september holidays came and went. first few days were quite boring. shopping, eating, shopping, eating. but sentosa was fun.. the hotel room so nice we didn't want to get out. 2 plasma screens, and a bose sound system. seriously just sit there and listen to radio and stone also shiok. then the power shower showerhead was mounted on the ceiling. unfortunately my sister only told me about it 15 minutes before the checked out. so sad. it would have been nice if there had been more of us youngster chiongsters then we could go play beach volleyball or beach soccer though. shiming attempted to teach me the breast stroke which i've only learnt half but at least that's progress! but the pool was so black it was quite scary. you wouldn't know what things are lurking beneath. yee.
writing pe and cle comments this week. which is taking really long cos i'm trying to make sure i don't repeat comments. then you have to make it constructive and it has to sound reasonably diplomatic and nice. yes so we can't write the convenient "she needs to be prodded into action", or "she is a very adorable". okay anyway most of them are quite nice. there are days when you think they're very naughty and then there are days that they're different. but then i guess the test of someone's character is how they behave when they're made to do something they don't enjoy. there are teachers who like to see the good side and others who harp on the bad things. so you try to strike the balance, but its still highly dependent on what kind of person you are.
